The mission of the Association of Professionals in Business Management (APBM) is to educate business professionals in all facets of business management through examination and continuing education. It exists to promote the value of Certified Business Manager® / Certified Associate Business Manager Designations to business and industry and to ensure that all CBMs / CABMs in good standing have access to the most current business management knowledge available.

The CBM is a masters-level certification based on an MBA curriculum and can be earned within one year and for less than $2000. With the CBM, you are able to show current and future employers that you have mastered an MBA curriculum. The CBM helps you:

• while you are earning your MBA
• after you have earned your MBA
• if you choose not to earn your MBA

With the CBM, you gain a competitive advantage by demonstrating mastery of core and functional areas of business management.

The CABM is a bachelors-level certification based on a pre-MBA curriculum and can be earned within six months and for less than $600. The CABM:

• serves as a diagnostic tool in assessing business knowledge
• helps you prepare for graduate studies in business or an MBA program
• helps you identify and understand the broad-based business knowledge essential for individuals joining the workforce in any functional area
